SEGGER presents Flasher PRO XL – The almost everything programmer with extra large memory – EEJournal

Monheim am Rhein, Germany – May 17, 2021

The SEGGER Flasher PRO XL is an integrated and comprehensive universal flash programming tool with extra large memory capacity.

With 2 gigabytes of storage, the Flasher PRO XL is designed to schedule large images and / or contain multiple images for use during the production scheduling process. These can be systems running Android, Linux, Windows CE, or other major operating systems, as well as deeply embedded systems that require a lot of data to program. If needed, the memory can be expanded using an industrial grade microSD card to cover even the largest of systems.

“Consumers expect home appliances, industrial equipment, vehicle dashboards, etc. have sophisticated graphical user interfaces, ”says Ivo Geilenbrügge, Managing Director of SEGGER. “The Flasher PRO XL can program and verify these massive images at lightning speed, keeping assembly lines running at peak efficiency. This production programmer removes image size limitations once and for all. “

The Flasher PRO XL is a Flasher PRO with extra large and expandable memory. Like all members of the Flasher family, it is very fast, robust, reliable and can be used stand-alone or on a PC. In terms of speed, the Flasher PRO XL approaches the theoretical minimum programming time for the target hardware. This is especially important for the large images that it is designed to program.
